OAB-UK International Standards for Accreditation of International Examinations
- The exams undergo a rigorous review process by the Accreditation Committee, which ensures they meet the high standards set by the OAB-UK. Only after this thorough examination are the exams approved.
- All exam questions are multiple-choice, a format chosen for its ability to cover a wide range of topics and provide a fair assessment of the student’s knowledge.
- The passing mark for any approved exam is set at a reasonable 75%, ensuring a fair assessment for students. However, specific levels or other criteria may apply, and the opinion of the consultants in the accreditation committee plays a crucial role in this determination.
- Exams are submitted online through the OAB-UK or Oxford International Academy websites at approved exam centres equipped with surveillance cameras. Alternatively, exams can be taken from home under specific time conditions where the camera is turned on during the exam, ensuring the integrity of the process.
- Rest assured, the exam pass certificate is promptly issued within 72 hours of submitting the exam, ensuring a swift and efficient process.
Types of exams that are approved
First: Exams associated with a training package approved by the OAB-UK
- If the exam is linked to a training package, it should cover all the principal and minor topics of the training course.
- The exam must be based on the question bank system, and the average must be achieved at 40/90, meaning every 40 training hours requires setting a minimum of 90 questions, provided that the number of exam questions is not less than 50 for any exam.
Second: Independent examinations
- The exam will be named by the party that applied for accreditation, provided that its name is not similar to the names of well-known international exams provided by international bodies, including, but not limited to, TOEFL, IELTS, Oracle, MBA, and OSHA exams, unless an application for accreditation is submitted from the company that designed the exam. And supervise it.
- That the exam achieves the goals for which it was set
